Tapout
In California in 1997 a company known as Tapout was created by Mask (Charles Lewis Jr.) and Punkass (Dan Caldwell). The company is the provider of clothing and gear designed for MMA fans, while also producing a magazine which covers MMA fighting.
The success of the company was seen within the first ten years when profits grew significantly. Tapout clothing is sold in a number of well known retailers and there is an online site too.
Tapout have a range of clothing for men and women and do casual as well as training gear. The popularity of this brand is evident as there have been numerous MMA athletes who have been seen endorsing the brand. The company sponsors a number of fighters and actually has a reality show where the two owners and the third partner SkySkrape (Tim Katz) look for new fighters which the brand can sponsor.
